The edition 2024.
Under the banner of “Dolce Vita” — elegance, conviviality, passion, creativity and the sweetness of life — the second edition introduced audiences to contemporary Italian cinema, screened every day at the Essaouira Media Library.
Building on the success of the first edition, when more than 600 pupils and 1,200 viewers attended the screenings, three films were offered to young audiences in partnership with the Hassania II Institute for Artistic and Cultural Awakening, followed by masterclasses on careers in film.
At the first edition, Sergio Gobbi was given carte blanche to introduce Italian cinema starting from neorealism; in 2024 the journey continued with masterclasses and round tables with Moroccan film professionals.
