Tommaso, young and aloof, is reunited with his father Renato after a long absence. Renato, who lives on a Tuscan ranch called “Brado”, breaks his arm falling from a horse. Despite his aversion to the ranch, Tommaso finds himself forced to help his father. Together, they try to break in a rebellious horse for a cross-country competition, seeking to dispel the years of resentment that have kept them apart since the mother left. A difficult journey, for the horse as much as for the two men in search of reconciliation.
