The Istituto Luce, one of the oldest and most important film institutions in the world, celebrates its hundredth anniversary by entrusting the leading figures of contemporary Italian comedy with making a film in 5 episodes. Retracing the classic currents of Italian comedy, the short films use archive footage from the last century to create an original and surprising story. Swindles and superstitions, love affairs, betrayals and music are just some of the themes the film explores. The images thus find a new dimension to celebrate the past and present of Italian cinema and of our lives.
