Napoli New York Gabriele Salvatores

Naples, 1949. In a city still scarred by the ruins of war, two children decide to leave Italy for America, guided by the dream of a new life. Their clandestine voyage aboard a ship bound for New York becomes a coming-of-age adventure across the sea and into the unknown. With sensitivity and poetry, Gabriele Salvatores tells of innocence and the strength of longing for a future, evoking post-war Italian emigration through the fragile yet courageous eyes of childhood.
